Art Director / Graphics Designer
Are you imaginative enough to come up with innovative ideas and designs yet also desire to be the one to make those ideas come to fruition by doing the graphic design work? Responsibilities
Design & Code all web media (including banner ads, ETOC's, e-mail blasts, etc.)
Manage, maintain and create AMG's social media pages, such as Facebook and YouTube
Manage and maintain all AMG websites and virtual web server
Collaborate with multiple parties to create engaging creative products that meet both market and corporate brand objectives via print, online and social media
(types of work include promo materials, web ads, social media materials, multimedia and web graphics, product literature, sales materials, trade show/event signage, trade advertisements, presentations, and internal communications)
Assist with tradeshow booth design, layout, packing and support
2+ years of web graphic design experience (coding experience a plus)
Experience with product photography and post photo editing skills
Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat & Dreamweaver experience a must (Flash experience a plus)
Willing to travel up to 25%
Microscopy Product Manager
We are searching for someone with a life sciences background and the ability to quickly learn the details of our microscopy product lines. This Product Specialist will provide technical support, technical training and product management for our private label (non-EVOS) microscope product line. AMG is headquartered in Bothell, WA near Seattle. This Product Specialist position will be based out of our Bothell office and requires the individual to be already located in the Seattle/Bellevue area. No relocation is available for this position.
Responsibilities:
Perform market and application research
Conduct beta testing
Track industry trends and competitor technology
Suggest new product ideas and enhancements to existing products – create a business case
Create marketing and product requirement documents
Customer/Distributor training via WebEx and onsite
Develop application notes, presentations & data for tech bulletins and promo material
Contribute content for user guides and training/marketing videos
Support internal and external departments on technical subjects or concerns
Requirements:
BS degree in life science and a minimum of 5 years relevant industrial experience. Candidates with advanced degrees (MS) preferred.
Demonstrate a clear understanding in the field of microscopy.
Exhibit superior oral and written communication skills in order to present information to customers and peers.
Ability to respond rapidly and effectively to changing business needs and priorities.
Competent and comfortable with hands-on work in the laboratory and customers’ facilities.
Senior Product Manager, Life Science
We are searching for someone with a life sciences background in microscopy and the ability to interface intelligently and effectively with members of the life science research community. The Senior Product Manager will work on his/her own and with other members of AMG on analyzing product applications, business requirements, beta testing and product launch.

Responsibilities
Manage the entire product line life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities
Be an expert on our AMG line of products and act as a leader within the company
Identify market opportunities, define business cases and assist in establishing the product strategy and roadmap
Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customer and non-customers – define marketing and product requirement documents with prioritized features and corresponding justification
Drive product launch across teams (Engineering and Marketing)
Run beta and pilot programs with early stage products
Develop and implement a go to market plan, working with multiple departments to execute
